Add a TXT record at Azure DNS

Where: Azure portal → DNS zones → your zone → Recordsets

Steps

  1. Click Add.
  2. Name: _dmarc. For SPF use @.
  3. Type: TXT.
  4. Value: paste the record without quotes.
  5. TTL 1 hour. OK.

Watch for

  • Azure DNS accepts long TXT values and splits them itself.
  • Only the zone whose name servers your registrar points to takes effect.

Screens change from time to time; if yours differs, Azure DNS’s own help is the authority. When the record is in, check it with the DMARC checker; DNS changes can take a few minutes to appear.
