Add a TXT record at Cloudflare

Where: Cloudflare dashboard → your domain → DNS → Records

Steps

  1. Click Add record.
  2. Type: TXT.
  3. Name: _dmarc (Cloudflare adds your domain). For SPF use @.
  4. Content: paste the value without quotes.
  5. Leave the proxy off (TXT records are never proxied) and save.

Watch for

  • If a _dmarc record already exists, edit it rather than adding a second one.
  • Cloudflare may show the value with quotes around it. That is normal.

Screens change from time to time; if yours differs, Cloudflare’s own help is the authority. Cloudflare documentation. When the record is in, check it with the DMARC checker; DNS changes can take a few minutes to appear.
