Add a TXT record at IONOS

Where: IONOS → Domains & SSL → your domain → DNS

Steps

  1. Click Add record.
  2. Type: TXT.
  3. Host name: _dmarc. For SPF use @.
  4. TXT value: paste the record.
  5. Save.

Watch for

  • Changes can take up to an hour to show.

Screens change from time to time; if yours differs, IONOS’s own help is the authority. When the record is in, check it with the DMARC checker; DNS changes can take a few minutes to appear.
